Setting goals is the easy part. Acknowledging the thoughts, feelings and pressures that stop us from following through is one of the key pieces that Life Coaching can prepare you for. Our style of Life Coaching combined with mentoring, and mindfulness, will empower and inspire you to create your own ways of moving above and beyond to the next level of your success.

What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is a partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to:

At NC Life Coaching we know that everyone’s situation and aspirations are different so we offer a whole being approach to meet your specific needs. Along with Life Coaching and Mentoring, we include the Mindfulness of "ACT", to enhance your effectiveness in achieving your goals! 

ACT gets its name from one of its core messages: Accept what is out of your personal control, and commit to action that improves and enriches your life. The aim of ACT is to maximize human potential for a rich, full and meaningful life. ACT does this by:

~ Teaching you psychological skills to deal with your painful thoughts and feelings effectively - in such a way that they have much less impact and influence over you (these are known as mindfulness skills).

~ Helping you to clarify what is truly important and meaningful to you - i.e your values and then use that knowledge to guide, inspire and motivate you to change your life for the better.
